Thing #5

As I was playing around on Flickr, I found it very useful for Science lessons. Using these pictures can help students see pictures that are more up to date, since the textbooks are older. Using visuals help my students to fully understand a concept. We just finished discussing the moon and I found a picture of an eclipse.

  2. Love this image! Are you a Twilight fan? Sorry, it's just that when I saw your post I was reminded about how I can't wait for the next movie to come out. I enjoyed the books so much.

    See you in clas! :-)

  3. Great eclipse picture! I think, especially with science, students need great pictures to really "get" the concepts. It's one thing to read about it and quite another to see it. I'm going to share this one with the science teacher on our team. Thanks!
